Smiles That Break You

So when was the last time you were standing there, and the hand of a little girl just slips into yours? When I looked down into those big coal-black eyes and returned the soft smile, I knew why I had come back. It is all about the children. WE are their family. Their hope. They are Asia's Hope. Wait until you see the photos tomorrow.....

Team 2 arrived safe and very tired. A few are sick with stomach stuff, but all will pass. God has put together a fabulous team that is full of nurses, doctors, dentists....and a CPA!

It is hard to think all of you are getting ready for a long July 4th weekend. July 4 will find us at the orphanage in Battambang, where I will also celebrate another birthday. I think I will rent a moto to celebrate!

The sounds of the city await a morning visit.

God Bless America....and Cambodia and Thailand too!

Can't wait to see the pictures. Tell the others, to blog, blog, blog!

If any trip members (other than John Campbell) are keeping a blog, let me know! I live vicariously through your blogs when I'm stuck over here.

I'm so glad you shared this site with Jim and me. The children are beautiful, and I know they must love you! I hope we'll see you at a Jim Lynch Band show when you return (after you've had a good, long rest, that is!)

Hey Liz.....I got your photo of the 4 boys tonight! I'll email it when I can and then send you a copy of last year's cd photos when I get home. I just got around to giving Dave and John a copy of last year's photos while in Phnom Penh!

Save your pennies and get yourself back here....it is even better the 2nd time around!
